Ganesha's Abode of BlissSwananda Dhama Guided MeditationGanesha's abode in us lies at the base of our spine. It is seen with the heart, not the mind. It is a realm of power, wisdom and sweetness. Everything there is red, scarlet, crimson or rose colored. To enter Ganesha's abode, we must temporarily rid ourselves of negative qualities that cloud the heart: qualities like greed, anger, jealousy and other negative emotions and attitudes. This meditation takes us on a journey through mantra to eliminate these tendencies enough to qualify to enter his realm. Once we have done that, we are able to pass through the gates to Ganesha's abode, which are guarded by eight strong and watchful attendants. As part of our journey, we encounter the guardian shaktis of Ganesha's realm and salute them with with mantra. After purifying ourselves, we are guided by these shaktis into Ganesha's presence. There, many blessings come our way as we have his darshan.
